2026: May - Here Is The News....

For three days - 17th, 18th and 19th of May - there will be certain transiting planets making very positive connections to each other which will bring a spark of optimism for us all. There will be news of exciting events and ideas which will ripple across social media bringing 

Firstly, we have the Moon, Mercury and Uranus in a triple conjunction (Stellium) at the beginning of Gemini. Following on from that we have the Moon conjunct Venus at the end of Gemini and then Mercury sextile Neptune, trine Pluto and in a square to the Nodal Axis.

The Moon, Mercury and Uranus stellium will bring sudden events and excitement in connection with young people or women. A conjunction of the Moon, Mercury, and Uranus signifies sudden and revolutionary changes in public communication, media, transportation, and intellectual trends. This could manifest as shocking, unpredictable events that catch the public off guard, triggering an abrupt evolution in how society thinks, connects, and communicates. Expect sudden flashes of insight, breakthrough technologies, or, conversely, misinformation and chaotic news.

Unexpected mass reactions, erratic public behaviour, or sudden rebellions against authority. Mercury and Uranus combined can indicate problems with communication, transport or  infrastructure. News that seems surreal may alter methods of communication and information sharing may change dramatically. Remember, because this aspect is a conjunction, it symbolises the beginning of a new cycle. So, even when the aspect is over, the influence continues, bringing developments over the coming months.

The Moon Venus conjunction will bring the opportunity for co-operation, fairness and equality. This conjunction often signifies efforts toward diplomatic resolutions and peace initiatives.It highlights increased activity in the arts, music, entertainment, and leisure industries. As both planets relate to femininity, this conjunction can bring focus to women's rights, child welfare, and societal issues concerning women.

Mercury square the Nodal Axis represents a major turning point,and a crossroads regarding how information is processed and communicated throughout society. It may bring a moment where past communications, ideologies, or decisions must be re-evaluated in order to move forward. This aspect frequently triggers the release of important information, news stories, or documents that echo the past. It can indicate disrupted transport systems, scandals, or chaotic communication regarding government policy. A situation from the past - often a previous, failed negotiation - will be brought back to the table for a final, decisive action.

The media may act as a provocateur, challenging existing social structures with new, perhaps disruptive, ideas. There may be inconsistent behaviour or contradictory messages from leaders and the media. Public debates or negotiations could hit a fork in the road, requiring a forced change in perspective. Old scandals or reports could be surfacing again along with a need to clean up the mess..There will be a crucial choice for the public to move towards a new way of handling information.

2025 - A New Era

The year 2025 will be a prelude to the phenomenal events and experiences due to take place in 2026.

By the 8th of July 2025 all of the major transiting planets will have entered new signs. During the first six months of 2025, 

Saturn will enter Aries.

Uranus will move into Gemini.

Neptune will enter Aries.

And Pluto will be firmly established in the sign of Aquarius for the next 20 years. 

To say we have never seen anything like this before - at least not in living memory - is an understatement. I'll be detailing each planet moving into a new sign as it happens throughout 2025. 

THE GREAT SATURN-NEPTUNE CONJUNCTION

This year - and continuing in 2026 - transiting Saturn and Neptune will be conjunct on a World Point - this one happens at 0 degrees Aries - the very beginning of the entire zodiac. Although Saturn conjuncts Neptune approximately every 36 years, they have not been conjunct at 0° Aries for over 12,000 years. So, is the Saturn Neptune conjunction of 2025 and 2026 a big deal? You bet it is! 

The Saturn Neptune conjunction starts in mid-May 2025 and continues until the end of September when the aspect separates slightly as both planets retrograde in to Pisces. They then come together again in mid-January 2026 before making one final exact conjunction on 20th February 2026. Astrologers have observed that, when Saturn and Neptune are conjunct, it brings massive change to Russia. The last time these two planets were in conjunction, the Soviet Union collapsed, What will happen this time? 

Architecture, engineering and construction are also Saturnian themes - in fact, any grand structures around the world that the human race has designed (including roads and railways) or have been created by nature, are an example of this. But Neptune is the antithesis - it symbolises erosion, disintegration, fragmentation. Reducing what is solid to rubble, dust or sand. So we may see the destruction of large buildings, bridges, monuments, etc, either as a result of natural disaster or human sabotage. On the other hand, large structures which have already been lost may reappear, as shifting sands and decreasing water levels reveal what has been buried or submerged for a very long time. 

Both Saturn and Neptune symbolise fear. However, Saturn's fears are based on reality while Neptune's fears tend to stem from imagination, illusion, delusion, hallucination, etc. When combined, it could be the case that Saturn might bring our collective fears to the surface by making them appear more real. So, what is the human race afraid of? Another pandemic? The start of World War III? An alien invasion? Or could this indicate an end to conspiracy theories which, of course, are specifically designed to provoke fear? The deceptions and delusions of the last few years will be up for scrutiny, that's for sure, and the end of woke is imminent. By the time this decade comes to a close, we will look back and wonder "What the hell were we thinking?"

This Saturn Neptune influence will be extremely powerful as it takes place not only in the sign of Aries but at the very beginning of the zodiac circle. Even the conjunction is an Aries aspect and as it takes place at 0 degrees which is a World Point, this means a massive change for every one of us. With the planet of reality coming together with the planet of illusion, how will this influence play out? One of the possibilities is the discovery of lost or missing people. Anything which has vanished without trace could suddenly reappear. Anything which has been shrouded in mystery may be revealed. Conversely, that which we consider to be real, might be exposed as a fake, a hoax or complete fantasy.

On a personal level, this major conjunction will affect all of us but will be particularly significant for anyone born between the 19th - 23rd March. Also affected will be anyone born from 20th - 24th June; 21st - 25th September; and 20th - 24th December, and if you were born in the middle degrees (14, 15, 16) of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius. With the Saturn Neptune conjunction in hard aspect to your natal Sun, you may become involved with people who sacrifice themselves (not literally!) for worthy causes, and you'll appreciate people who are not superficial or pretentious. You will seek the basic truth about everything. Under this planetary influence, you will succeed in finding solutions to difficult problems. This could be in either a personal or professional capacity. 

Please remember also, that if any of your natal planets or points are situated on, or around, 0 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn, this Saturn Neptune conjunction will be very important in your life throughout 2025 and 2026. 

During most of 2025, there is a planetary configuration taking place involving the outer planets: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. They will be forming a Double Sextile aspect comprising Pluto in Aquarius sextile Neptune in Aries, with Neptune sextile Uranus in Gemini. Uranus will also be in a very positive trine aspect to Pluto. This influence will be a step into the unknown. It could bring a sudden disappearance or re-appearance. but of what - or whom? A slow and revolutionary development may suddenly be interrupted or pushed forward ahead of schedule. What form this will take is not clear.

All of this is a prelude to a more complex aspect pattern which will take place in 2026 involving Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The world as we know it is changing rapidly from 2025. Now is the time to open your mind to all the mind-blowing events and experiences that are about to begin. 

The Mars, Uranus, North Node Conjunction

Starting a few weeks ago and becoming exact on the 1st and 2nd of August, re-activated from 8th - 13th August by the Full Moon in Aquarius, before easing off in the following weeks, there will be a triple conjunction comprising Mars, Uranus and the North Node situated at 18° in the sign of Taurus. On the world stage, unexpected and dramatic events are likely to occur, particularly in connection to food, finance and territory, including natural disasters like earthquakes, landslides, avalanches, lightning strikes or volcanic eruptions. 

The last time transiting Mars was in conjunction to Uranus in Taurus was on 18th January 2021. This took place 12 days after the storming of the Capitol, two days before the Inauguration of President Biden and on the day Twitter banned Donald Trump from its platform. This was also the day after opposition politician and activist Alexei Navalny was arrested upon his return to Russia.

The last time Mars made a conjunction to the North Node was at the end of March 2021. At that time, Facebook blocked the account of Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro for spreading fake news related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The grounded container ship 'Ever Given' was refloated and towed north, allowing the Suez Canal to reopen. More than 350 ships were waiting to pass through. 

Of course, given the current circumstances, this planetary aspect will also be connected to the war in Ukraine.Transiting Saturn was situated at 18° Aquarius on 24th February 2022, so therefore, it becomes part of the official War Chart. Everything has a starting point including events like the invasion of Ukraine. This means that when transiting Uranus is positioned at 18° Taurus from now, on and off, until May 2023, it will be in a square aspect to the 'war chart' Saturn, which means the war itself will be affected by this planetary influence. But how and in what way? War is not a static situation, it is continually changing and evolving. With the influence of Mars, Uranus and the Nodes in hard aspect to Saturn, we can expect some significant - and possibly shocking - developments. It will be a particularly tense period in the days around the Full Moon on 11th August. 

Because this planetary aspect is taking place in a Fixed Sign, it means that anyone - or anything - with planets in those signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) particularly if they are on, or close to, the relevant degree (18) will be strongly affected by this influence. On the political world stage, I've already mentioned the War Chart but this also includes:Ukraine itself, it's leader President Zelenskyy, Boris Johnson (even though he has resigned), President Macron, Putin, President Biden, the UK, USA, Russia, Canada and Poland. President Zelenskyy gets the most hits from this planetary influence which is not really surprising as he is currently the most high-profile person on the planet. The list is endless and the ones I've mentioned are only the countries and leaders I've had time to analyse. Look out for controversy surrounding other people in the public eye too as I'm sure there will be interesting stories about certain celebrities.

On the positive side, pioneering, scientific breakthroughs often take place when Mars and Uranus line up. This is because they both symbolise innovation, technology, discovery, new beginnings and looking to the future. Another interesting perspective of this triple conjunction is in connection to the entertainment industry. Mars rules ambition, confidence and drive. Uranus rules glamour and the North Node represents the zeitgeist - i.e. being in the right place at the right time and tuning in to what the public wants. Add to that the fact that this aspect is situated in Taurus, the sign of talent, I think we could see a phenomenal new performer emerging. Equally, this person could appear from the science community or the sporting arena. However, their identity will probably not be revealed until later this year when transiting Jupiter makes its next conjunction to 0° Aries. 

Astrology provides the ability to understand the past, analyse the present, and anticipate the future. Throughout the first half of 2022, we have been in turmoil and the second half will be just as dramatic. The only difference - and it's a very important difference - is that because of our experience during the last six months, we have the information and knowledge we need to deal with any new problems that are thrown at us. As the old but very true saying goes: "Forewarned is forearmed". With astrology, we can be prepared. For better or for worse, the next few weeks will be potentially explosive for all of us.
