2026: August - The Eclipses

The SOLAR ECLIPSE on 12th August 2026 takes place at 20° Leo. This will act as yet another trigger for the 'Four Fours' configuration through two aspects: the Semi-square and the Sesquiquadrate. The Semi-square is an aspect of 45 degrees and the Sesquiquadrate is 135 degrees. 

Unlike other hard aspects which often trigger explosive situations, the semi-square and the sesquiquadrate influence is more subtle. The tension it creates acts as a catalyst to move forward. In a global scenario it symbolises where leaders and the public find themselves continually at odds. This tension can manifest as volatile or destructive behaviour such as sudden strikes, protests, or aggressive maneuvers. These aspects force integration of opposing political, economic, or social agendas. Unresolved historical conflicts, or deeply ingrained public attitudes that are difficult to break could fester beneath the surface. Global leaders may be pushed into making difficult choices. 

The Lunar Eclipse on 28th August 2026 takes place at 4° Pisces. This is another trigger for the 'Four Fours' as it squares Uranus which is part of the Double Sextile along with Neptune and Pluto. .

Many high profile public figures will be affected by both eclipses. Strangely, President Trump isn't one of them, but his Vice President J D Vance is, with the Solar Eclipse in a square aspect to both his natal Mars and Midheaven. This will brings a powerful clash between his personal ambitions and the duties he is obliged to perform. His career and public reputation could reach a turning point. The Lunar Eclipse will square his Nodal Axis triggering moments of high tension where a choice must be made.

The Princess of Wales - if her birthtime is correct -:will have the Solar Eclipse conjunct her natal Ascendant bringing a major personal reset that will shift her identity, physical presence, and how the world perceives her.

With the Lunar Eclipse square her natal Uranus she .may feel unusually erratic, restless, or over-sensitive, experiencing sudden mood swings or a deep sense that her current routine is suffocating. Circumstances beyond her control might force a sudden break from familiar routines, living situations, or relationships.

Meanwhile, King Charles III will experience the Solar Eclipse in a square aspect to his natal Sun and the Lunar Eclipse opposite his Saturn. This could trigger a major wake-up call that will bring hidden issues to a head. There may a dilemma between how he feels and his external duties.

Prince Harry:will have the Solar Eclipse in a square to his natal Moon introducing a turning point regarding his home, family dynamics, living arrangements, or significant shifts in his emotional wellbeing. The Lunar Eclipse opposite his Mercury and Juno may make him feel mentally restless, anxious, or hyper-sensitive to what others say, leading to temporary misunderstandings. This heralds an intense period where his emotional needs will clash head-on with his long-term commitments. 

President Putin's natal Pluto and Nodal Axis will be aspected by the Eclipses forcing him to face external situations that will challenge his sense of control and power.

The influence of both Eclipses will last for at least six months, so by February 2027, we should be able to see what has evolved..

2026 - Part Two: February

There is so much to say about the year 2026 that it's impossible to convey the details in just one or two posts. Therefore, I'll be writing about what's to come every few weeks and giving it to you in installments. 

At the end of January, transiting Mars formed a conjunction with Pluto. Mars Pluto aspects tend to bring power struggles with a determined and stubborn need to win. Therefore, the first few months of 2026 will feel like a worse version of 2025. 

On 17th February 2026 there will be a Solar Eclipse at 28° Aquarius, bringing significant new beginnings and a new sense of reality. Under this planetary influence, meaningful changes and challenges will take place. The eclipse will trigger a period of shifts in attitudes, beliefs and political affiliations. People, places and things in the public eye that will be influenced by this eclipse include: 

President Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and the USA.

The family of Madeleine McCann, Prince Harry, Victoria Beckham, and the BBC talent show Strictly Come Dancing. 

Ukraine, and President Zelensky - both his personal chart and his inauguration chart. These are just some of the horoscopes I've analysed. Basically, the people and places in the news right now will be powerfully affected by this Solar Eclipse for at least the next 12 months. Watch and wait.....

The Saturn Neptune conjunction will make its final hit on 20th February 2026 at 0° Aries. We have a saying in astrology: The final hit is the hardest. Therefore, everything that this aspect represents will be at its most powerful. Not only situated in the sign of Aries but at the very beginning of the zodiac circle, on a World Point, this means a massive change for every single one of us - especially if you were born on or around 21st March. 

With the planet of reality coming together with the planet of illusion, how will this influence play out? One of the possibilities is the discovery of lost or missing people. Anything which has vanished without trace could suddenly reappear. Anything which has been shrouded in mystery may be revealed. Conversely, that which we consider to be real, might be exposed as a fake, a hoax or complete fantasy. There might also be disappearances. I'm also getting the sense of escapology or escapism. Who is trying to escape and from what? When Saturn and Neptune are conjunct, it brings massive change to Russia. The last time these two planets were in conjunction, the Soviet Union collapsed, Expect something very similar - and it's starting NOW.

At the end of the month there will be a square aspect between Mars in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus from the 24th February until 3rd March. This planetary influence could bring much restlessness, tension and hasty decisions. During this time, events may come out of the blue, including technical glitches. There will a high risk of accidents.

February will be a very eventful month. Get ready!

2026 - Part One: Overview

There are many theories as to what the year 2026 will bring: miraculous new inventions, mind-blowing discoveries, an alien revelation and even the the Second Coming. Believe it or not, none of this is far-fetched at all. There really is the possibility of any, or even all, of these events happening. One thing is for sure - by the end of 2026, we will all be much more spiritually aware.

However, I'm sure you are all familiar with the saying, "It will get worse before it gets better" and this will be the case during the first few weeks of 2026 when the problems of 2025 will seem to reach a crescendo. 

The first major planetary influence of 2026 will be a Solar Eclipse  on the 17th February at 28° Aquarius. This will be in an opposition aspect to Donald Trump's natal Mars and natal Ascendant which could bring issues connected to his marriage, relationships or professional partnerships - including adversaries and opponents.This eclipse will also conjunct the USA natal Moon. In the chart of a nation, the Moon represents the population, so a change of public attitude is highly likely with a possible connection to health matters or workers' strikes. It will be a big year for America in 2026 as the President is due to celebrate his 80th birthday in June, the United States will be 250 years old in July and the 25th anniversary of 9/11 will be commemorated in September. I'll be writing about all of these events throughout 2026.

For the last few months, transiting Uranus, Neptune and Pluto have been in a Double Sextile configuration. This indicates that we are in the process of realising positive opportunities. From the end of January onwards, this configuration will be activated by transiting Mars when it conjuncts Pluto. It will then square Pluto in late May. Mars Pluto aspects tend to bring power struggles with a determined and stubborn need to win. However, when Mars forms a trine aspect to Pluto in early July, we could see a period of extraordinary energy which will result in very positive and constructive change.

On 17th April 2026, there will be seven planets transiting Aries - the sign of New Beginnings. This will include the Sun and Moon conjunct Chiron, Mercury will conjunct Mars, Saturn and Neptune. The last time there was a line-up of seven planets in the same sign was on 5th February 1962 in Aquarius. You can read about this in my 'Age Of Aquarius' articles in the blog. 

Mars is one of the planets which activates or triggers other planetary aspects. I get the feeling that there will be increased military activity around this period. Working behind the scenes and covert operations are likely. The avoidance of confrontation will bring the need for well orchestrated plans in order to achieve the end result. What will this be? 

Transiting Mars will be in a square aspect to Jupiter in early May. During this period we will all be drawn to social, moral and spiritual issues. There will be the presence of a very dignified figure who will lead by example and inspire others through actions and gestures on a grand scale. But who will it be?

In late May, transiting Mars will square Pluto bringing intense energy and determination to succeed. However, there is the possibility of a rise to power resulting in aggressive actions from others - either individuals or organizations - who may feel threatened by some growing influence. Could this be a new political movement? Whatever the source, their ambitions might stir up opposition and make new enemies. 

Mars will conjunct transiting Uranus in early July. This could be a very explosive planetary influence as it symbolises rebellion, impulsive actions, and sudden or shocking events. The global mood in general will be more unpredictable at this time. On the positive side, the start of a new and unique project will take place, perhaps involving heavy machinery or electricity. 

From July onwards, 2026 will take a different course, becoming much more serene and harmonious. The reason for this will be revealed in upcoming posts.

October Solar Eclipse

There will be a Solar Eclipse on 25th October in the sign of Scorpio.

On the world stage, President Zelenskyy, and his political allies: Biden, Macron, Ursula von der Leyen, etc, as well as certain countries including Ukraine, the UK and Russia, will all be potential targets for this year's eclipses taking place in Taurus and Scorpio as they all have their natal Moons in Fixed signs.

In British politics, former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson's natal Moon will be conjuncted by the eclipse. As the Moon is the ruler of his 10th house (public image and status) he could be recognised in some way and take a step that comes from being a seasoned professional. as his experience will be a valuable asset.

Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will experience the eclipse as a square to her natal Mars. Under this influence, there could be outbursts, destructive tendencies and conflicts. She might have to stand up for herself  - or she could be the one initiating a confrontation. Arguing, or ongoing frustration could reach breaking point. If a situation comes to a head, it could be explosive. As Mars is the ruler of her 6th house (daily routine, work, health) there could be a health crisis as a result of full on pressure in her working life. There could also be a change in her title or identity. 

This Solar Eclipse will oppose King Charles’ natal Moon in Taurus, which shows that something could happen that may leave him feeling exposed or vulnerable during the next six months. Circumstances connected to his home, family and the past, may occur and cause emotional upset. There could be a severing of family ties and a sense of betrayal by another person. He may realise that he doesn't have to give in to the demands of others in order to get approval or have status. 

The Solar Eclipse will be conjunct Prince William’s natal Jupiter and Scorpio Midheaven bringing new experiences and a renewed sense of adventure and optimism. He will travel more than usual over the next six months and a flash of insight will revolutionise his outlook on life. He will feel truly connected and contented within his family.

Prince Harry’s Pluto will all be activated by the Solar Eclipse bringing his inner tensions to the surface. He may have to deal with mental trauma, fear, compulsions or obsessions. An upcoming event could trigger the need for him to confront his negative personality traits and the six months following the eclipse could bring the strength - or the help - to face and overcome them. 

In a square aspect to Meghan Markle's natal Nodal Axis, the Solar Eclipse will rattle her boundaries, bringing upset to her familiar settings and people; forcing her out of her comfort zone. She'll be moving towards unfamiliar situations and will be challenged to prove her potential.
