Ephemeral Arc - The 5th Anniversary!

EPHEMERAL ARC is FIVE years old today!

The very first article was published on 23rd July 2013 and since then the blog has gone from strength to strength. It hasn't always been an easy journey, but here we are marking five years of real astrology

So, to celebrate this milestone anniversary, tell me what your favourite articles have been and ask me anything about my own personal experience of EPHEMERAL ARC.

I'd like to say a big THANK YOU for your loyal support - especially if you've been here since the blog first began. I have many plans for the future, so I hope you will join me as I take EPHEMERAL ARC through the next few years.

~Sue

  5. As a fellow astrologer (who wouldn't have the guts to start a blog) I salute you, Sue! This anniversary is testament to your expertise, hard work, and dedication. Congratulations x

  7. Hi Sue. Congratulations on 5 years of Ephemeral Arc. You said "It hasn't always been an easy journey". Is there anything you regret about the blog?

    1. Thank you, Carolyn. There are two things I regret about the blog.

      1. Never having enough time to write what I want to write. there are so many articles I have planned to do but have been forced to discard.

      2. In the early days of Ephemeral Arc, I foolishly offered free personal readings to blog visitors. I was deluged by requests - around 140 - and as a result, I had to cancel most of them. There was just not enough time to get them all done as well as keep up the blog, and do my offline astrological work.

I hate saying 'no' to people, so letting my readers down made me feel like a complete failure. I almost gave up the blog because of the guilt I felt.

    3. Hi, Sue. How long does it take to do a horoscope?

    4. 'Anonymous 1': Thank you x

'Anonymous 2': It can take several weeks to do a horoscope. However, as I'm usually working on 3 or 4 horoscopes at a time, it can take up to 3 months. Sometimes, I have to do an 'emergency' reading for the blog if something happens out of the blue that I want to analyse. In that case, the other horoscopes I'm working on will be temporarily delayed.

    1. Thank you so much, Sam xx

I know I should have more confidence in my own abilities. Not always easy though.

However, reaching this anniversary has made me proud of my work. Thanks for your support ;-)

    Hi Sue :)

Many congratulations on this special anniversary. As an amateur, but hoping to become a professional, astrologer, this blog is often my "go to" reference point. I love the articles about relationships, pregnancy, etc. Can't wait for more.

  15. Hi Sue :) Well done on reaching 5 years. I'd just like to ask which blog horoscope do you consider to be the best you've ever done?

    1. Thank you :-)

That's a really difficult question because I'm proud of all of them. Although I can't say which individual blog horoscope I consider to be the best I've ever done, I do prefer the articles about astrology itself - 'Astrology And Medicine', 'The Cosmic Clock', 'War Of The Worlds', etc

    1. Aaaww thanks, Beth. I've changed the appearance of the blog frequently in the past, but now that it has passed the 5-year mark, I feel I've established myself and my work online. So, the new, sophisticated image will hopefully symbolise this.

Yes, I do my own artwork. I'm a graphic designer as well as an astrologer.

  21. Sue, well done on reaching this special anniversary. May I ask what your plans are for the future of both the blog and yourself? (I hope you don't mind this question)

    1. Thank you - I don't mind your question at all :-)

My plans for the blog include more articles about the subject of astrology and how it works. I know there are quite a few astrology students who visit the blog and I really want to assist them in any way I can.

On a personal level, I'm writing a book at the moment. It's got no connection to astrology. I'm hoping to eventually have it published.
